Thank you for visiting my website! I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Politics at Swansea University.
My research is on comparative and European politics. My work focuses on the emergence, development, and resilience of democratic institutions, with a special interest in political parties ranging from the center to the far right.

My sole- and co-authored work has been published in Political Research Quarterly, Political Studies Review, Social Science History, German Politics and Society, and edited volumes on party politics. My first book on the politics of party adaptation is under contract with the University of Chicago Press.
Before joining Swansea, I worked as a Departmental Lecturer in Comparative Politics at Oxford University and as a Stipendiary Lecturer (Career Development) in Politics at Oxford University’s Pembroke College. I also was a visiting researcher at Yale University and the University of Vienna. I completed my PhD (DPhil) at Oxford University (Nuffield College).
